Bio

Martin Smith is a management consultant working on strategy, growth, and pricing issues for leading companies. He has a public policy background including research for an MP on the Treasury Select Committee and a think tank. As a lobbyist for UK small business organisations in Westminster and Brussels, he used EU internal market law to help convince the government to end a VAT loophole resulting from an old EU law that was being abused by large retailers for competitive advantage at the expense of their smaller competitors. Martin has an MBA from London Business School and speaks German and French.
