On 11th November at the Caledonian Club, we had a very successful reception with Sir Jeremy Hunt MP, introduced by Sir David Lidington along with over 70 guests.
Sir Jeremy talked around the theme of his recent book “Can We Be Great Again?", including key viewpoints such as:
“In a dangerous world with threats to democracy, the worst thing is to underestimate our ability to solve global problems, we should look to work with those of similar minds”, along with be very clear on the ECHR “Reform of the ECHR is a shared issue with other European countries, but we should leave if it cannot be reformed.”
